I grew up in India. I came to United States when I was 12 years old. Currently I am actively seeking an opportunity to work as a Web Developer and to step in to the industry of Computer And Software Development.

I wanted to build on my connection with one on one customer’s skills and marketing skills, so I undertook this position part-time while studying. Demonstrated superior product knowledge, selling merchandise, and customer service.
I was in their top 25 associates for selling Pro Membership in GNC Region 12 (Belmont, CA – Daly City, CA).

Front End / UX Intern

As a mentorship program I was helping Rende team to build an iOS and Android based mobile application to connect with community with like-minded friends-of-friends in real life, we just recently launched our application.

Designed using sketches and wireframes, react for User Interface. Managed backups and stored procedures for SQL database.

Took charge of front-end development using Bootstrap. Used Arcanist/Phabricator to submit, review, and land patches to GIT.

Backend Developer (Team of 3)

We are building a search engine to predict wine that could best match a person’s taste, according to his search criteria. The results will include the places/wineries/prices that could cater to the person’s interest.
The training dataset is from a wine reviews dataset from twitter that contains more than 150k reviews along with winery, place, price, etc. Dataset are unstructured textual data and structured qualitative numerical values.
Techniques: NLP, Clustering, Classification, Sentiment Analysis, Vector Space Model, Information Extraction.
Technologies: Python, JavaScript, React, Text Analysis and Sentiment Analysis.

Tank War Multiplayer Game & Lazarus Game (Individual)

Game Developer (Individual)

The project consisted of writing a java computer code to build a Tank War and Lazarus game in NetBeans.
Tank War: The goal of this game is to destroy the enemy tank and each tank has 3 lives and health levels. Split screen and mini map has been implemented to track down the movement of an enemy tank.
Lazarus: The goal of this game is to get the character, Lazarus, out of the pit. Boxes are dropped on the Lazarus, but once Lazarus hits the stop button the machine that drops boxes is stopped. If a box falls on Lazarus, the game is lost.
I learned how to perform good OOP practice, how to reuse the code, how to work with images and frames.

Front End Developer Lead (Team 0f 7)

We are developing a SW application in team setting with all key steps and aspects of SW Engineering methodology. The team environment is built on Agile Methodology. The application is set up on Heroku Cloud Platform Server.
The website’s main aim is to help SF Students buy and sell their items. (EX: Books, House Hold Items, Concerts

Tickets, Ride Sharing). Functionalities are similar to amazon, eBay and contacting is similar to craigslist.
